General Format
The foundation of our process is the understanding of our clients both public and private their organization, business, culture, strategic mission, business objectives most important, and their specific needs. We are committed to being responsive and flexible in order to complete the assignment in a flawless, thorough, and expedient manner. We want to be known as a firm with unquestionable integrity that completes assignments successfully and has the highest professional standards. Our procedures are as follows:
1. Orientation
At the start of each search, we meet with members of our client organization to discuss the qualification criteria, preferred experience and credentials, and the best “fit” to ensure a successful placement. We develop a search strategy that may target specific industries, organization and/or individuals. During this stage, we also establish the time line and communication plan for the search. We summarize this in a written position description that outlines the organization, the position and the “ideal candidate profile.
2. Research and Sourcing
We thoroughly research our client company’s industry and competitors and leverage our extensive database to identify prospects. We will gain insight as to why prospective candidates should want to work for our client. We contact targeted individuals, assess resumes, conduct in-depth phone screens and identify strong potential candidates. Our analysis also includes benchmarking compensation with current market conditions. Throughout this phase, we present our client’s opportunity with energy, enthusiasm and professionalism.
3. Interviewing
At this stage, we engage in an exhaustive research process. We utilize our databases and industry contacts and identify appropriate prospects from a predetermined list of agreed upon target organizations. We conduct in-person interviews with a select group of potential candidates. When a pool of qualified individuals is developed, we schedule a candidate review meeting with our client to discuss each candidate’s background. From this working session, clients determine an initial slate of candidates. We coordinate the scheduling and logistics for client interviews and contact candidates for post-interview feedback. We also continue to identify potential candidates during this time.
4. References, Offer and Closure
Referencing is a critical part of our process. Early in the process, we will have in-depth confidential conversations with individuals who know the candidate’s technical competencies, management skill and personal attributes. When our client has completed their interviews and selected a short list of finalists, we conduct thorough referencing and complete credentials verification. When the successful candidate has been selected, we participate in the offer process, as desired by the client. We are skilled in offer structure and acceptance negotiations, as well as in pre-employment processes including relocation assistance. We are willing to act as the intermediary between the candidate and the client in order to ensure the appropriate employment terms and compensation package.
All candidates are notified of the search’s conclusion. Each individual will be treated with respect and professionalism throughout the process.
5. Follow-up
We reconnect with placed candidates after they begin their new assignments. Our role continues for a time beyond the placement of a candidate. Our ongoing relationship with the candidate and the client allows us to be instrumental in ensuring a successful transition for both. This exchange of feedback allows us, when appropriate, to provide transition assistance to our candidates and clients.
